The Intention of this book is to support interested people, such as fans of seafaring, pilots or private sailors, in recognition of merchant ships' silhouettes. Including thousands of ship types this book is a collection of the specific appearence of vessels all over the world. There is no intention of completeness for its difficult to collect all the fresh builded ship types. Old constructions have been taken out of order and salvaged or converted to fit other objectives.
