Beschreibung

Courtney Davis has done a remarkable thing in presenting Celtic art to us in this manner. It is just what is needed at this time. So many of us are fascinated by the mystery of these twining forms but need some lead to help us to understand and appreciate them. Courtney has surely made a beautiful contribution to our understanding. I thank him for his vision, artistic skill, painstaking craftsmanship and love of his great and ancient tradition - his work is an inspiration to us all. A fantastic book for aspiring artists, or those simply interested in the world of Celtic art! Filled with gorgeous full-colour illustrations, excellent examples of knotwork, key patterns, zoomorohic designs, gods/goddesses, heroes/heroines, plus detailed descriptions of each piece's symbolic meaning. A must-see!
